Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website, purchasing products, booking an experience, or engaging Tea4Peace TranquiliTea Lounge ("Tea4Peace," "we," "us," or "our") for services, you ("Customer," "Guest," or "you") agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy, Shipping & Returns Policy, Experience Booking Policy, Food & Beverage Disclaimer, Health & Wellness Disclaimer, and Website Disclaimer (collectively, the "Policies"). If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the website and services.

If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a company, venue, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. Eligibility and Minors

Our services are intended for individuals 18 years of age or older. Guests under 18 may attend experiences only with the consent and direct supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who assumes full responsibility for the minor's participation, conduct, and any applicable waivers.

3. Intellectual Property

All content on this website and in our materials is the exclusive property of Tea4Peace TranquiliTea Lounge or its licensors, protected under U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and trade dress law, including but not limited to:

  • Logos, brand names, and trade dress

  • Original artwork, photography, and video

  • Course materials and educator training content

  • Written content, blog articles, and scripts

  • Experience concepts, ceremony formats, and tea names

  • Marketing materials, graphics, and icons

No portion of this content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used to create derivative works without our prior written permission. Unauthorized use may result in legal action and claims for damages.

4. Experience Reservations

Tickets are required for all public experiences and are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Some experiences have limited seating and may sell out. A confirmed reservation is created only upon receipt of full payment (or deposit, where applicable) and a confirmation notice from Tea4Peace. See the Experience Booking Policy for full details on cancellations, transfers, and no-shows.

5. Customer Cancellations

Unless a specific experience listing states otherwise, the following schedule applies to Customer-initiated cancellations of ticketed experiences:

  • 30+ days before the event: full credit

  • 14–29 days before the event: 75% credit

  • 7–13 days before the event: 50% credit

  • Less than 7 days before the event, or no-show: non-refundable

Credits are issued at Tea4Peace's discretion and are non-transferable unless otherwise agreed in writing. Refunds, where offered, are issued to the original payment method only.

6. Tea4Peace-Initiated Cancellations

If Tea4Peace cancels an experience for reasons including weather, illness, venue issues, emergency, or insufficient attendance, affected Customers will be offered, at their choice, a full refund, full event credit, or transfer to another scheduled experience. Tea4Peace's maximum liability for any cancelled experience is limited to the amount paid by the Customer for that experience.

7. Private Events, Weddings & Corporate Bookings

Private events, weddings, and corporate wellness bookings require a signed services contract and non-refundable deposit prior to scheduling. Final guest counts are due according to the timeline stated in the contract; additional guests beyond the contracted count may incur additional charges at the rate specified in the contract. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and a signed contract for a specific event, the signed contract controls.

8. Client Setup Responsibilities

For on-site and mobile service events, the client/venue is responsible for providing, at no cost to Tea4Peace:

  • Adequate access to the event space for setup and breakdown

  • Standard 120V electrical power, unless otherwise specified in writing

  • A reasonably level, safe, and weather-protected setup location

  • Any permits, licenses, or venue permissions required for the event

Tea4Peace is not responsible for delays, service limitations, or additional fees resulting from a client's or venue's failure to meet these requirements.

9. Alcohol

Tea4Peace provides non-alcoholic beverages only and does not serve, sell, or supply alcohol under any circumstance. Clients who wish to serve alcohol at a private event are solely responsible for obtaining a licensed, insured bartender or caterer and complying with all applicable Florida alcohol-service laws. Tea4Peace assumes no liability whatsoever arising from alcohol served by any other party at an event we service.

10. Weather & Outdoor Events

Outdoor events are weather-dependent. Where rescheduling is not possible due to venue or date constraints, standard cancellation terms in Section 6 above apply. Clients are encouraged to arrange a rain plan or backup indoor location in advance.

11. Pricing

Prices for products, experiences, and services are subject to change without notice. In the event a pricing error appears on our website or marketing materials, Tea4Peace reserves the right to correct the error and to cancel or adjust any order placed at the incorrect price, with notice to the Customer and a full refund of any amount paid for the affected order.

12. Memberships, Founders Society & Promotional Codes

Secret Garden Tea Society membership is offered at no cost. Benefits may be added, changed, or discontinued at any time without notice, and membership may be terminated for abuse of benefits, fraud, or conduct that is abusive or unsafe toward staff or other guests. Membership discounts are personal to the member and may not be transferred, sold, or combined with other offers unless explicitly stated.

Platinum Founders Society benefits are honorary, non-contractual, and subject to change at Tea4Peace's discretion. Founders Society discounts have no cash value, cannot be combined with other promotions, and may be used only by the named Founder unless otherwise specified in writing.

Promotional coupons and codes cannot be combined with other offers, have no cash value, and may expire at any time unless expressly designated as a lifetime benefit. Tea4Peace reserves the right to modify or discontinue any promotional offer.

13. Gift Cards

Gift cards are non-refundable and not redeemable for cash except where required by law. Tea4Peace is not responsible for gift cards that are lost, stolen, or used without authorization.

14. Photography & Recording

Tea4Peace may photograph or record public experiences for use on our website, social media, marketing, advertising, and printed materials. By attending a public experience, you consent to such use unless you notify staff in writing before the experience begins that you do not wish to be photographed or recorded. This consent does not extend to private events unless otherwise agreed.

15. Assumption of Risk

Participation in Tea4Peace experiences, including tea tasting, ceremony, meditation, and mindfulness activities, involves inherent risks, including but not limited to allergic or adverse reactions to food, tea, or botanical ingredients, and minor physical exertion. By participating, you voluntarily assume all such risks. For certain private events and experiences, Tea4Peace may require guests to sign a separate written waiver and assumption-of-risk form prior to participation.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, Tea4Peace TranquiliTea Lounge, its owners, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising out of or related to your use of our website, products, or services. Tea4Peace's total cumulative liability for any claim arising from a purchase or booking shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Customer for the specific product, experience, or service giving rise to the claim. This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory of liability (contract, tort, negligence, or otherwise), except where such limitation is prohibited by law.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or personal injury caused directly by Tea4Peace where such limitation is not permitted under Florida law.

17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Tea4Peace TranquiliTea Lounge, its owners, employees, and contractors from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of: (a) your breach of these Terms; (b) your misuse of our products or services; (c) any alcohol served by a third party at an event you host; or (d) injury to any guest that you invite, to the extent caused by your own or your guests' negligence or misconduct.

18. Force Majeure

Tea4Peace shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather, government orders, public health emergencies, labor disputes, or supply chain disruptions. In such cases, we will work with affected Customers in good faith on rescheduling, credit, or refund options consistent with Section 6.

19. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, a purchase, or an experience shall first be addressed through good-faith direct negotiation between the parties. If unresolved within 30 days, the dispute shall be submitted to binding arbitration administered under Florida law, conducted in Seminole County or Orange County, Florida, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court where jurisdictionally appropriate. Disputes shall be resolved on an individual basis only; you and Tea4Peace each waive any right to participate in a class, collective, or representative action, to the extent permitted by law.

20. Governing Law & Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to Section 19, any litigation shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Seminole County or Orange County, Florida.

21. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

22. Entire Agreement; Modifications

These Policies, together with any signed contract for a private event, constitute the entire agreement between you and Tea4Peace regarding their subject matter and supersede any prior agreements. Tea4Peace reserves the right to update these Policies at any time; the version posted on our website at the time of your purchase or booking governs that transaction. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Policies.
